Manfaat Gandum

   

  Gandum telah dikenal sebagai makanan yang sehat yang sangat dianjurkan, terutama sebagai bahan makanan pokok untuk dikonsumsi setiap hari. Gandum memang terbilang jenis karbohidrat yang berguna sebagai makanan utama layaknya nasi putih kita konsumsi. Di indonesia kebiasaan untuk menyantap nasi putih sebagai makanan pokok sudah mendarah daging, tapi sebenarnya gandum juga merupakan alternatif makanan pokok yang baik.

Berikut ini manfaat gandum yang baik untuk tubuh :

-Meningkatkan Metabolisme Tubuh
   Biji-bijian seperti gandum sangat efektif pada pasien dengan gangguan metabolisme. Jenis-jenis sindrom metabolik termasuk obesitas visceral,  trigliserida tinggi, rendahnya tingkat kolesterol HDL dan tekanan darah tinggi dapat dilindungi dengan gandum. Dokter merekomendasikan makan roti gandum dan makanan kaya serat lainnya. Diet gandum mungkin adalah cara yang paling efektif, cepat, dan menyenangkan untuk mengurangi sindrom metabolik tubuh.

-Mencegah Asma Pada Anak
   The American Lung Association, mengatakan bahwa sekitar 20 juta orang Amerika mengalami asma. Studi telah menyatakan bahwa biji-bijian dan ikan pada sebagian anak, dapat menurunkan kemungkinan asma. Studi Internasional Alergi dan Asma pada anak dibuktikan melalui banyak penelitian bahwa diet berbasis gandum memiliki kapasitas untuk menurunkan kemungkinan terkena asma hampir 50%. Selama survei, diberikan diet khusus gandum, ikan dan biji-bijian dan menunjukkan penurunan hampir 66% dalam kemungkinan penyakit asma.

-Melawan Kanker Payudara
   Penelitian di Inggris menemukan bahwa diet kaya serat sangat penting bagi wanita untuk menjaga kanker payudara. Makanan dari biji-bijian seperti gandum dan buah-buahan memberikan perlindungan yang signifikan bagi perempuan pra-menopause terhadap kanker payudara.
Studi mengatakan bahwa sekitar 30 gram gandum yang dikonsumsi sehari-hari, cukup bagi perempuan untuk mengurangi risiko kanker payudara. Laporan mengatakan bahwa wanita pra-menopause yang mengkonsumsi gandum memiliki 41% penurunan risiko kanker payudara dibandingkan dengan yang memakan serat dalam bentuk lain.

-Kontrol Obesitas (terutama pada wanita)

Minum kopi secara rutin baik bagi kesehatan

Minum kopi memang dapat meningkatkan kadar hormon stres dalam tubuh dan memicu efek ketergantungan pada kafein. Akan tetapi berikut ini adalah beberapa manfaat kopi bagi kesehatan, dengan catatan anda membatasi penggunaan kream dan gula.

Peningkatan memori
   Kopi dapat membantu meningkatkan memori, baik itu memori jangka panjang maupun pendek. Dalam sebuah studi tahun 2005 yang dipresentasikan pada Radiological Society of North America, para peneliti menemukan bahwa mengkonsumsi dua cangkir kopi berkafein meningkatkan memori jangka pendek dan kecepatan reaksi.
Yang lebih menarik lagi, sebuah penelitian di tahun 2007 menemukan bahwa wanita berusia 65 atau lebih yang rutin minum 3 gelas kopi atau lebih dalam sehari memiliki performa lebih baik dalam tes memori dan kurang mungkin untuk menunjukkan penurunan memori dibanding mereka yang minum hanya satu cangkir sehari.

Menurunkan resiko kanker
  Konsumsi kopi telah dikaitkan dengan penurunan risiko kanker payudara, endometrium, prostat dan kanker hati, dan mereka yang terkait dengan obesitas, estrogen dan insulin. Sebuah studi tahun 2008 di Swedia menemukan bahwa minum setidaknya dua sampai tiga cangkir sehari dapat mengurangi risiko atau menunda timbulnya kanker payudara.

Hal ini juga dapat membantu atlet tampil baik selama latihan kekuatan – bahkan ketika kurang tidur – jika dikonsumsi satu jam sebelum latihan pada dosis 4 mg untuk setiap kg berat badan.

   Sebuah studi tahun 2007 pada pria yang berusia lebih dari 40 tahun menghubungkan konsumsi kopi jangka panjang dengan rendahnya risiko encok, kondisi peradangan yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan kadar asam urat. Baik kopi reguler atau yang tanpa kafein akan memberikan dampak positif, dan mereka yang minum enam cangkir sehari memiliki risiko 60 persen lebih rendah terhindar dari kondisi encok.

Manfaat Wortel

   Wortel merupakan sayuran yang sangat berkhasiat. Wortel yang secara luas dikenal sebagai sumber vitamin A, ternyata memiliki segudang manfaat lain. Tentu saja apabila sayuran bewarna oranye ini, dikonsumsi secara rutin. Sama seperti manfaat buah dan sayuran pada umumnya, manfaat wortel ini juga sangat banyak untuk kesehatan tubuh manusia. berikut beberapa manfaat wortel: 

1.    Mengurangi resiko kanker
